Church Planting Primer Online Course
Church history teaches us that church planting is the means by which the Gospel spreads throughout the world. The Book of Acts reveals to us how Christianity rapidly changed from a regional uprising to a worldwide movement through the multiplication of small churches. Today, with more than 80% of evangelical churches in America plateauing or declining and more than 9,000 churches closing annually, new churches are desperately needed.
This introductory course on church planting will provide a biblical-rationale for planting new churches, as well as practical next steps that anyone can take to get involved in the work of church planting and fulfilling the Great Commission!
All course materials are FREE and can be studied by individuals or taught in group settings. All videos, slide presentations, and handouts can be viewed and downloaded on our course page. Also, visit our FAQ page for additional topics, including the definition of “church” and how your church can be involved in the work of church planting.
